SPIRIT WORSHIP TEAM
This ensemble of vocalists and instrumentalists provides music for our contemporary worship services on the first Sunday of every month (Oct-May) at 5 pm in Plymouth Hall. The dress is casual; the praise music upbeat; and the sermon always meaningful. The band is under the direction of Ray Klemchuk and currently rehearses Tuesday evenings. The team also provide occasional music for Sunday morning worship and the family Christmas Eve services. Rehearsals for this group begin August 25. Come check out this uplifting service on October 4. Some members of the current team recently produced a CD entitled 'Without Love it Doesn't Mean a Thing.' Copies of the CD are available (for $12) through Mary Jo McKeag's or Meg Heinz's office or through cdbaby.com . Also visit www.congoswb.com to learn more.

Directed by Ray Klemchuk, the adult choral program offers flexibility for adults who love to sing but have difficulty finding time to do so. There are two rehearsal times. The Wednesday evening rehearsal lasts from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. This includes a short break, which provides time to socialize with fellow choir members and also enjoy a treat. There is also a rehearsal on Sunday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the start of the first service. Choir members are encouraged to come to either or both rehearsals New members are always welcome. If you don't want to make a long-term commitment, then consider singing for our Christmas or Easter worship services. Ray is available at 246-1900, ext. 31. |
